We study modern materials with a wide range of applications. Formerly led by Prof. Dr. Peter Behrens, the working group divides into four specialised research teams, each addressing different, forward-looking issues. One of the groups works at the Lower Saxony Centre for Biomedical Engineering, Implant Research and Development (NIFE), where they develop innovative solutions for medical applications.
